- Three surfaces, swiped between as one corpus. Calendar is your year as a map, Chronicle is the writing room, Patterns is a rosette of your rhythms.
- A real editor with an inline command language. Set reminders, birthdays, and exercise, navigate with
cd, and find related entries with/similar. - Time has colour. Each entry is tinted by the wall-clock hour it was written, held to that hour no matter where the reader opens it.
- On-device semantic search. When keyword search finds nothing, Aion searches by meaning, locally.
- A Moon Phases widget for the desktop, and an optional one-way iCloud backup, off by default and only ever to your own private iCloud.
- Export any day, year, or the whole diary to plain text or Markdown.
